Spent my holiday at the La Mesa Ecopark with Dwight and Aia. :) Super saya! If you are looking for a cheap alternative place within the metro where you can commune with nature, dito kayo pumunta. The entrance fee is very affordable, P50 lang.

There are trails for biking, jogging and hiking.

And a more than a hundred steps stairway leading to the dam reservoir. More than a hundred din ang calories na-burn namin sa pagakyat!

There are also food stalls where you can buy food and drinks! But I suggest you to bring your own baon since hindi ganon kadami ang stalls at medyo may kamahalan ang ibang stalls.

What Aia and Dwight enjoyed most was the zipline!

While I almost cried trying it!
Me: Kuya ayaw ko na pala. Natatakot ako.
Kuya: Natatakot din po ako para sa inyo Ma'am, kaya umayos na kayo.
Aia: Go na! itutulak kita.
Me: Kuya ayaw ko na talaga, alisin mo na tong harness kase nagtitinginan na mga tao.
Kuya: Thank you sa 100 Ma'am. (mejo pikon na si Kuya)
Me: Ok lang. (with trembling knees)
Aia: Itulak mo na Kuya.
Kuya: Madali lang yan Ma'am, parang ganito lang. (sabay tulak!)

And there I go! Sobrang hawak sa tali! masaya pala sya, haha! Being an altophobic, sobrang proud ako kase nakaya ko! Hahaha!

Sobrang enjoy!A more healthful alternative to shopping malls.
